Full Tension Compression Midspan Joints are manufactured
from an Aluminum outer extrusion splice body, and an inner
steel tubular core.
The two piece design ensures strength equivalent to the
conductor onto which the fitting is applied.Each fitting is
manufactured with internal and external tapers, to eliminate
stresses associated with compression,
and reduce corona discharge.
